If you were not a member of a golf club then you were unable to play in competitions but golfers are inherently competitive.
Likewise, why should you only have to play the golfers on the same course as you? Why couldn't you play against anyone in the world?
Pin Seekerz was the first golf app that allowed golfers to compete against anyone in the world, anywhere in the world using a global handicap and ranking system.
Pin Seekerz went on the have Joe Root, Danny Willett & Dave Horsey as brand ambassadors as well as partnering with Under Armour & Callaway
Danger Farms were appointed to help the founder and their team bring their vision and app to life.
Through sketches, wireframes and prototypes with customers, we built the app from the ground up based on what the business was trying to achieve and what golfers actually wanted.
What was produced was an app for iOS and Android using react native and a CMS and database that the founding team at Pin Seekerz could use.
Over 50,000 golfers used the app in 27 countries including the UK, USA, Australia, Sweden and even Papua New Guinea.
Professional sportsmen even endorsed the app such as England's number one batsmen Joe Root and 2016 Masters Champion Danny Willett along with brands such as Under Armour and Nike hosting branded competitions in the app.
Pin Seekerz even ended up on Dragon's Den.
"Danger Farms were instrumental in helping us bring the idea of Pin Seekerz to life. As an inexperienced team in the development and the app world, they guided us through agile development ways of working and delivered not only a fantastic product golfers loved, but one we as a team felt proud of."
